April vacation this school year came with a whole new opportunity – this time, a group of 60 teenagers and young people from Europe and America, through organization “Youth Compass”, came for a volunteer camp to Fuzine/Rijeka, and we were asked to organize their daily activities. Thus, dividing the group of 60 into smaller groups, together with the young people we managed to do clown therapy, very needed garden work, mural painting and cementing in institutions for children and adults, even under the rain, and visit 10 disadvantaged families in the area of Vojnic. The volunteers also did construction and garden improvements at the Homeless shelter in Rijeka, with the cooperation of the homeless people.
