For years now, our project “Building a Bridge” has been operating between Lidija’s group here, Dom Turnic and the Senior’s home in Rovereto Italy. Just recently the Rovereto home has been building a bridge between themselves and a Seniors’ home in Kraljevo, Serbia. A group of 4 operators and 4 seniors passed through Rijeka this week on their way to Italy, where they will spend a week visiting various homes there, receiving training and ideas to take back home.

After a 12 hour drive they stopped in Rijeka. Together we visited Dom Turnic to see the home and enjoy a meal together. Lidija had the opportunity to meet with Nella (see foto below). We hope that this new “bridge” will also be extended between Croatia and Serbia, and look forward to working together in the future!
