The time of Carnival in Rijeka (this year an especially long period of one-and-a-half-months) is an excellent chance of sharing laughter and joy with everyone around. So our calendar at this time is also full of planned visits to kindergartens, Homes for children, youth and the elderly, where we perform clown shows, make balloon figures and paint faces, helping everyone have a memorable time of relaxation together, on the upside of the carnival spirit. Following are a few photos from carnival events, and on February 14th, the traditional “Free hugs” also will take place in the center of town, involving a numerous group of Croatian young people!
