On January 10, 1996, a group of us volunteers, signed the articles of association.

The name said it all: For a Better World.

At the time, we were committed to providing aid to refugee camps in the former Yugoslavia (Slovenia, Croatia, and Bosnia). Over the years, our work has evolved, but fundamentally, we are still committed to supporting those fleeing war, those who are alone, those who are ill, and those who want to gain volunteer experience “in the field,” in simplicity and collaboration.

Thanks to those who have followed and supported us over all these years. We could never have done it without you.

2026 will be a year of celebrations, so this is just the beginning.
