This summer, besides the work on the center, we had more summer camps than the previous years. Work was done on the center, murals were painted in institutions, humanitarian aid was distributed, plus we added a Flash Mob Dance to our regular summer “Free Hugs” campaign!

During July we had 2 camps. The first was from July 14-22 A group of 12 came from Trento. The men installed the electrical system in our center (See previous post), a new mural was painted in the Selce Orphanage, clown therapy, plus we a made humanitarian trip to the Karlovac area.

Between camps we had a visit from Anna’s sister Maddalena and her family, who eagerly participated in our activities.

The second camp was a mixed group of young people and two families entitled “The Way to be Happy”, with a total of 30. Work was continued on the center grounds, plus a new mural was painted in a kindgergarden, along with our regular humanitarian trips to the interior, plus the now famous Flash Mob Free Hugs.

Part of the group was a family with 6 children from Germany who have spent some years in the mission field of Africa. They have a project called “Sponsor a Book”, which donated 32 packages of inspirational books, including Mottos for Success, plus another 24 single books. Together with them, we were able to donate these books to needy institutions in the area, plus gave a Mottos to the volunteers who came.
